The
first images of the new DC Comics teenage superhero inspired by Mighty
Girl Cree education activist Shannen Koostachin were unveiled this week.
The character named Equinox, a 16-year-old girl from the largely Cree
community of Moose Factory, Ontario, will appear in a five-issue story
arc in the forthcoming Justice League Canada series later this month.
